One Good Kiwi Donates $5,295.97

In a significant boost for Māia Health Foundation’s Kahurangi project, One Good Kiwi has made a generous donation of $5,295.97.

Throughout November, Māia Health Foundation participated as one of the chosen charities on the One NZ app, a platform dedicated to amplifying the efforts of various charitable organisations across New Zealand. The initiative aims to engage the community and encourage active participation in supporting selected causes.

The Māia team embraced the opportunity by crafting a video, with our wonderful volunteer spokespeople Hinewai Collins and River Lockwood, to effectively convey the essence of Māia's mission, showcasing impactful projects and discussing the team's commitment to the new youth mental health outpatient facility.

As part of this unique fundraising approach, the New Zealand community can view videos from ten selected charities on the app. each month and virtually allocate green coins to the causes they wish to endorse.
