Māia Health Foundation Welcomes Hamish Doig and Joel Gabites to Board of Trustees

Māia Health Foundation is delighted to welcome two new trustees, Hamish Doig and Joel Gabites, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the board.

Christchurch’s business community gains further representation with the appointment of Hamish Doig. As Managing Director of Colliers International in Christchurch and a Director of Colliers International New Zealand, Hamish is a recognised leader in commercial property and investment strategy. His work in driving transformative property projects has been instrumental in shaping Christchurch’s central city.

Joining Hamish is Joel Gabites. Joel's background spans ANZCO Foods, where he is GM Commercial & Business Improvement, Ernst & Young, where he was a management consultant, and as a commercial solicitor for a national law firm. His expertise includes commercial and legal affairs, corporate governance, and business improvement. Joel holds degrees in Law and Commerce from Canterbury University and an executive qualification from Stanford University.

Māia Health Foundation anticipates that the addition of Hamish and Joel will provide invaluable support to its mission of delivering impactful health projects for the Canterbury community.
