Batchelar McDougall Consulting Ltd is supporting the 2022 Feast

Batchelar McDougall Consulting Ltd, a South Island-based structural engineering company, has once again joined forces with Māia to sponsor its premier annual fundraising event – the Feast, which will be held this year at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre on 3 September.

Ian McKnight, Chief Executive at BMC, says the team are passionate about the work that they do for their clients and communities – a value that aligns with Māia’s purpose as a health charity.

“We’re proud to support Māia in its mission to help take the health system in the South Island from good to great. It is one of our cornerstone beliefs that our work should help people. To be part of a cause that is working for the greater good of the community is an ideal alignment with BMC’s values.”

The Māia Feast is an opportunity for people to enjoy a magical evening of dining and entertainment, whilst raising funds and ‘shining a light’ on child and youth mental health.

Māia is fundraising for a new fit-for-purpose Child, Adolescent and Family outpatient hub to replace ageing facilities at The Princess Margaret Hospital and Hillmorton campus.

A welcoming, light and spacious modern treatment centre will help to transform the way that mental health is provided to young people in Canterbury.

The Māia team is grateful to BMC for its generous support of the Feast and look forward to working together to enhance the wellbeing of our community.
