The Cause

Māia Health Foundation’s next key project is to help create a modern Child, Adolescent and Family Service outpatient facility that will be a dramatic improvement on the current specialist mental health treatment space at The Princess Margaret Hospital. 

A new environment that is contemporary, welcoming and recovery-focused, and that supports the wellbeing of the children, adolescent and their whānau. 

A place where people feel safe and respected when accessing mental health services at any stage of their wellness journey.

Māia wants to start the conversation to shine a light on child and youth mental health and engage our community in Canterbury.
